Performance Age Group training competencies:
Arrive to all sessions 20mins early to perform Pre-Pool
Display good lane discipline; order; direction; overtaking whilst
using the pace clock appropriately during training sessions
Maintain good technique throughout every session over different
distances and different intensities.
Advance on the BCSS drill sheet on all four strokes
progression on all competitive starts, turns and finishes
awareness of perceived effort - steady pace; acceleration; fast finish
capable of performing basic land exercises with own body weight and
demonstrate good body awareness during land work sessions.
Swimmers will be aiming to race at a Welsh National & SEW Regional
